Reviews in Brief
I’ve got so many things people sent to me sitting here waiting to be reviewed. I’m starting to feel pretty guilty. So until I actually sit my ass down and write out detailed reviews, here are a few reviews at a glance.
Gris-Gris by Ryan Matney - I like this. There are a couple carry-over effects from his ebook Fiver, a few things utilizing Peter Duffie’s Rifflepop move (which I still can’t get down), and several more original effects. Everything is simple and straightforward, and very easy to learn.
Liquid Metal by Morgan Strebler - Excellent. I’ve been a fan of metal bending for a long time, but never really got into it more than a spoon bend here and there. Liquid Metal provides you with a fork bending routine that you can immediately learn and put to use.
Spun by Morgan Strebler - I like the thinking behind this, but I’ll probably never use it. Thread work is something I play with by myself, but I find it doesn’t fit it well with my performing style. If you’re a fan of thread work, I think you may find use for this. If not, you may be interested in purchasing it for the Closer bend, a coin bend that I see as having great potential.
Girl Magic by Pagliacci - I’ve only been able to give this a cursory read-through, but I’m really loving it so far. If you’re interested in a book giving real-world tips for using your magic to help attract and keep women (although he and I both remain firm in saying magic can only enhance your girl skills, not replace them), give this a look.
